Soar through the skies and see the Rocky Mountains just as birds do. Our Fisher Peak Experience is a 15-minute flight around the highest point of the Southern Rocky Mountains while our Grand Tour Experience is 25 minutes long and includes Fisher Peak, Fort Steele and Kimberley. Customized tours are also available.
Make the water yours! The East Kootenays have ample sunny days, and our amazing lakes and rivers are ripe for adventure. Guided tours and rentals are available.

Wilderness White Water
Trekking down remote mountain rivers, this experience offers some outstanding opportunities for cliff jumping, body surfing, swimming and wildlife viewing. A gourmet riverside lunch is included.
Extreme White Water (early season only)
For those who are looking for the ultimate experience with challenging rapids, crashing waves and outstanding scenery.
Cast off in one of our nearby lakes or go angling in St. Mary River as you chase after the elusive cutthroat trout. The East Kootenays boast countless lakes from valley bottom to high alpine. Although the river fishing season doesn’t start until mid-June, the lake fishing season ranges from late April to mid-November. (All prices are for two anglers; fishing licenses are not included in the rate.)

High up in the stunning Purcell Mountains where you will meander through old growth forests and cross avalanche slide meadows, horseback riding is a freeing and invigorating experience. All trips are accompanied by knowledgeable guides and wranglers.
Great for everyone from couples and families to wedding parties and corporate escapes, this two hour ride along the St. Mary River is offered twice per day (10am and 2:30pm).
Hot Springs Trail
This full day of trail riding takes you up the headwaters of the St. Mary River to the famous Dewar Creek Hot Springs. Enjoy a pack horse picnic in Bugle Basin, a relaxing soak in the springs and a barbecued steak dinner upon return back in the valley at the St. Mary Lodge.
A heritage town and living history museum from the gold rush days, this tour features a street theatre, museum displays, livestock demonstrations, live theatre shows, steam train rides, horse-drawn wagon rides and heritage trades demonstrations. Admission is $12 per person.
