St. Eugene Resort is located within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation in the heart of the East Kootenay Region of British Columbia. We enjoy the seclusion of the valley and the views of the Rocky Mountains while also being in close proximity to Cranbrook, BC, and the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC).
From Cranbrook, we are a 10-minute drive along a leisurely and winding road until you emerge into the valley bottom, a branch of the Rocky Mountain Trench. Here, land both developed and wild unfolds towards an expansive view of the Rocky Mountains.
Our resort is also 25 minutes away from the town of Kimberley, BC, an hour from Fernie, BC, and less than a 4-hour drive from Calgary, Alberta.
For those looking to visit from further afield, Cranbrook is easily accessible by plane with frequent flights into the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC). Major carriers like WestJet or Air Canada offer daily flights into the city from their international hubs including Vancouver and Calgary, while smaller carriers offer daily flights from Kelowna, Victoria, and Vancouver. WestJet is now offering flights from Cranbrook to the communities of Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Prince George.
